Join Novarossi’s team - Well, kinda; Novarossi is set to release Team versions of their Toro Nero and Plus 21-4 off-road engines, which will feature ceramic rear bearings, lighter weight and lower cooling heads, and something Novarossi is calling “Compact Combustion Technology.” We have no idea what that means, but stay tuned for more information after the engines are released at this week’s Nuremburg Toy Fair. The end of the V-Spec? - O.S. Engines has released a limited edition run of 300 engines of the popular, four-time IFMAR World Champion V-Spec that will only be available to U.S. dealers. O.S. indicates that the limited edition engine will mark the V-Spec’s final production run. What will replace the venerable V-Spec? Stay tuned to OSEngines.com.

Travis wins Mugen debut - Travis ‘Peanut’ Amezcua won the Airtronics race at Revelation Raceway last weekend, his first notable entry with his new Mugen race cars. Travis finished the 40-minute main event with a comfortable cushion on runner-up Kyosho driver Cody King, with Associated driver Ryan Cavalieri rounding out the top three.
