Collari stays with Kyosho - Nine-time IFMAR 1/8-scale on-road World Champion Lamberto Collari has renewed his contract with Kyosho through next year’s Worlds, to be held in Homestead, FL. Prototype windstorm - This past weekend. two-time World Champion Atsushi Hara used this prototype succesor to the Hot Bodies Cyclone touring car to win the sparkles in Bangkok, Thailand. Details are scarce, though the LiPo-specific chassis is quite apparent. Stay tuned for more details at HotBodiesOnline.net.
Losi Xcels in the LiPo world - Losi’s new line of Xcelorin LiPo packs feature large capacities and high discharge rates, like this 2S pack with 5000mAh of capacity and a 40C discharge rate. ROAR to recognize 4WD SCT - Keeping up with the ongoing explosion of short course truck racing across the U.S., ROAR has announced that it will recognize a 4WD short course truck class with a list of rules that place importance on scale looks and reasonable speeds while keeping everything available at an affordable level. Itty BD improvements - Yokomo’s European Indoor and DHI Cup winner, the BD5 World Spec, is now available to the public. The most noticeable improvements over the original BD5 is a LiPo-only chassis plate that serves as a platform for other improvements.
